Eligibility

Candidate seeking admission to the B.Ed course in a subject/optioned will have to satisfy the academic eligibility applicable. Candidate should have passed B.A.B.Sc Degree examination under 10+2+3 pattern with one main subject and two subsidiary subjects from any one of the universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by any one of the Inversities in Kerala as equivalent there for admission, subject to the stipulation of marks.

Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from Universities outside Kerala should submit Eligibilities/Equivalency Certificate stating that their qualifying examination is recognized by those Universities for seeking admission to B.Ed degree course in a particular optional subject in a stream as applicable along with their application.

Double or Tripple main candidates who passed the degree examination in Vocational or Specialized course are also eligible for admission. However, they have to submit copy of Equivalency / Eligibility certificate from the concerned university.

Marks

The minimum marks for B.Ed admission is 50% (No rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is permitted) in Bachelor's Degree (Science/Arts Subjects) in aggregate (Part 1 + Part 11 + Part 111)

Relaxation in marks

Candidates belonging to socially and Educationally Backward Communities (SEBC) like muslim, Ezhava, etc. can get 5% concession in aggregate marks and hence those with 45% marks in aggregate are eligible for adimission.

English

Physical Science

B.Sc Degree with Physical / Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / BSc Petrochemicals / B.sc. Bio-Chemistry / B.Sc Industry as main with 50% marks in aggregate.

Social Science

B.A. Degree with History / Geography / Politics / Economics / Sociology / Psychology / Philosophy / West Asian studies under part 111 with 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission Procedure

The orders, rules, regulations and the guidelines issued by the University, Government and the NCTE for each year/from time will be final and the admission is governed by these.

Application form are available from the college office on payment of Rs.250.00. students seeking admission should submit the application forms duly filled within the stipulated time.

Total seats are classified as merit and management seats, on the basic of 50-50%. The merit seats are filled in from the Rank lists prepared on the basic of the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations, under the supervision of government agency authorized by the government to do so while the management seats are filled in by the management.
