About Us

The Maunathul Islam Association is a Charitable Institution. It is about 107 years since it was established. It is situated in ponnani and the identity of which was kept in the Arena of culture. Ponnani is renowned to its knowledge and by virtue of the same fact it is known as Small Mecca".

The institution was set upon 19th of september 1900 the year in which it was registered in 1908. Under the indian companies Act and it was called "M.I. Association".

Apart from this, one L.P.School, U.P.School, Higher Secondary Schools for both Boys and Girls. English Medium School, one Arabic College and an Orphanage are functioning under the same roof.

The Aim

This institution aims at preparing the teacher education for better training to younger generations, fostering better thoughts and developing personal skills, inspiring then to serve the society and the nation for a better tomarrow.

Management

The College is run and managed by Maunathul Islam Association, one of the pioneer and reputed Societies India, established in the year 1900, registered under the Indian companies Act in 1908, with the office at J.M. Road, Ponnani Nagaram, known as "Small Makkah" in the history for its Islamic education, culture and tradition. The aim of the establishment of M. I. Association is to promote educational and cultural activities, help the needy and the poor, upbring those who are at the lower strata of the society, economically and socially and to impart Islamic education. M. I. Association has a history of more than 110 years of service engaging in varius socio-cultural activities to achieve the goal of its establishment. The eminent and great personalities of the Muslim Community always led M. I. Association. Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal Panakkad is the President. M.I. Association, is running the following educational institution, apart from M.I. Training College.
